Congrats to all of you NaNoWriMo participants, whether you finished or not. It's a crazy undertaking. I did not join in the fun this year, but I did just finish my seventh draft of TBW (currently at 295 pages, 81,730 words).
And tomorrow, I will start the next one. I'd say the last half of the story is ready to query, but the first half still needs some work. ;o)
For those of you who are querying or almost ready to query, have you heard of Pitch Wars? A group of authors with agents are accepting applications from querying writers in need of a mentor. Wednesday, December 5th is the deadline. If you're trying to query a MG novel, I can't recommend Krista Van Dolzer enough. She really is all that and a Queen of Sheba cake.
